Heat Level — Mild - Death by FIRE
This sauce was my first dabble into Cold Smoking and I decided to go with smoking the bell peppers rather than the hot peppers themselves. I did this to make sure that the thick walls of the bell peppers were able to really grab the hickory smoke flavor and allow it to translate to the sauce. Success!
This sauce has a flavor profile of a smokey and sweet bbq sauce and doesn’t disappoint! You will get all of the flavor on the front end and the heat on the back.
This sauce will also be a series of sauces where the recipe stays the same, but I will be using different a type of pepper each batch to allow it to be enjoyed by people with high heat tolerance and lower heat tolerance.

Made with the specific pepper of the edition and Cold Smoked Red Bell peppers, along with Shallot, Local Honey, Garlic, Brown Sugar, Salt, and Orange Juice.
